Atlantic Shores Hospital is a private, freestanding facility that provides acute inpatient treatment for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders and chemical dependencies for adults 18 years and older. The programs offered include mental health care, chemical dependency, detoxification and mental health and substance abuse issues combined.
Each person is treated by a team that includes a psychiatrist, registered nurses, counselors, mental health technicians, activity therapists, a discharge planner, addiction counselors, psychologists and other professionals. The facility is a Baker Act & Marchman Act Receiving Facility.
