Chicago Children’s Center for Behavioral Health, opened in 2009, provides a safe and therapeutic option for the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents ages 3-18. With a focus on the child, the family and the community, Chicago Children’s Center offers an individualized treatment plan with a focus on the patient’s strengths, creativity and needs. Bringing together the support and expertise of Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center at the Saint Elizabeth campus, Chicago Children’s Center is able to provide a larger community of support and services to care for children and adolescents through inpatient and outpatient programs and a vast network of referral sources.

Services/Programs

  • Inpatient services including psychiatric evaluations, psychological testing, inpatient education and individual, family and expressive therapy
  • Multidisciplinary team of behavioral healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, counselors, therapists, teachers and support staff
  • A comprehensive team of bilingual Spanish-speaking staff to serve the Latino patients and families
  • No-cost assessment and referral services for children, adolescents and their families
  • Behavioral health trainings onsite and in the community by Chicago Children’s Center expert clinicians.
  • Partnerships with agencies throughout Chicago and Illinois, including Resurrection Health Care, to ensure a continuity of care
  • Access to outpatient services at Saints Mary’s and Saint Elizabeth Medical Center
