 Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is committed to providing Illinois youth with compassionate treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We take pride in providing this care for families "Close to Home" in the Central Illinois Region and beyond at our newly designed, state-of-the-art center in Springfield, Ill. We provide treatment to children and adolescents who present with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment. We provide a safe, nurturing, and comfortable setting that fosters growth to empower each individual to accomplish his or her goals. We are able to accommodate a diverse population through a continuum of care. Successful re-integration is the targeted outcome through working collaboratively with community partners. Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is dedicated to working with agencies, schools and other treatment providers to form Treatment Teams on behalf of the children/adolescents served. Our continuum of care includes: A full array of outpatient services such as psychiatric medication management clinic, individual, family and group therapy, and post discharge support groups. Our inpatient care includes 24-hour nurse care, private rooms for patients and certified teachers providing daily education lessons. Child and adolescent psychiatrists head up our clinical team, while master's level therapists provide treatment and discharge planning, as well as recreation, music, and expressive therapy, along with individual, family and group therapy.
