Palmetto Lowcountry is a licensed 112-bed facility offering a full continuum of mental health and addiction treatment for children, adolescents and adults. Palmetto Lowcountry provides inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and residential treatment services and can address most psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Palmetto Lowcountry also offers an after school teen substance abuse program (TAP) as well as a six-week evening recovery/addiction's program for adults (CARE). Palmetto Lowcountry is the only free-standing, full-service psychiatric facility in the eastern third of South Carolina. Services are provided in six buildings on a beautiful eight acre site along the Ashley River. Services are provided in a personal, private and professional setting and are highly individualized to meet each patient's varying therapeutic needs.
