Riveredge Hospital is the largest freestanding psychiatric hospital in the state of Illinois. The facility has 210 licensed beds and delivers specialized care to children, adolescents, young adults, adults and geriatric individuals. Services are provided by an interdisciplinary team, which may include therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, expressive therapists, mental health associates and certified alcohol and drug counselors. The hospital's philosophy is based on Trauma Informed Care.
