Rock River Academy and Residential Center provides a residential program for females ages five to 21 that are challenged with a variety of mental health, behavioral health and substance abuse needs, as well as co-educational and therapeutic services to students (male and female) ages five to 21 with special education eligibilities. Rock River Academy is committed to providing the highest quality mental health and educational services to equip youth with the tools needed to become more successful and stabile by teaching them the valuable skills necessary for a successful reintegration into their communities.

Services/Programs

• Individual, group and family therapy sessions, based on the individual needs of the child
• Thrice-daily group therapies provided by an interdisciplinary team of professional staff, with a high staffing ratio of 3:1 and the ability for 1:1
• Rock River Academy, a therapeutic year-round day school for students in grades K-12 that are working to transition back to their home school district, complete with an Individual Education Plan per student to help them emphasize their strengths and provide therapeutic interventions to help students overcome behavioral issues
• "Building Bridges," a life skills transitional program
• On-site nursing 24 hours a day and time-delayed locks on all door to ensure patient safety
• Amenities include pet therapy, full size gymnasium with stage for drama and music, baseball field, expressive therapy, art classes, talent shows, photography classes and transportation based on need
