West Hills Hospital provides a full-range of behavioral health care services, including inpatient hospitalization, chemical detoxification and rehabilitation and intensive outpatient psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. The hospital serves children, adolescents and adults who are seeking treatment for mental health issues including depression, suicidal tendencies, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, alcohol and drug dependency, sexual, physical and emotional abuse and severe psychosocial and psychosomatic problems.

Services/Programs

• Psychiatric intensive outpatient program consisting of a psycho-educational, process therapy, group-based outpatient program that provides support to patients discharging from inpatient setting as well as clients in need of intensive outpatient services
• Inpatient addiction treatment with a full continuum of care, including detoxification, rehabilitation, an intensive outpatient program and free aftercare group therapy
• Co-occurring/dual diagnosis intensive outpatient program for individuals suffering from a mental health disorder combined with substance abuse
• Chemical dependency intensive outpatient program focused on recovery and relapse prevention and composed of process, therapy, psycho-educational groups and homework
• Acute inpatient care, including 24-hour nursing observation, daily interventions and oversight by a psychiatrist and intensive, highly coordinated treatment by a physician-led team of trained individuals
