Windmoor Healthcare Announces New Staff Psychiatrist

CLEARWATER, Fla. – (Feb. 8, 2010)Windmoor Healthcare is proud to announce the appointment of Randolph Hemsath, M.D., as a clinical psychiatrist.

Dr. Hemsath has been in private practice in Pinellas County since 1990. He specializes in acute care and geriatrics and was on staff at Boley Behavioral Health Services prior to joining Windmoor Healthcare, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc., facility.

Wendy Merson, Windmoor’s CEO, believes adults at the facility dealing with mental health and chemical dependency issues will greatly benefit from Hemsath’s knowledge and expertise.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Hemsath join the Windmoor Healthcare team,” said Merson. “He is well known in the community and will assist us in continuing to provide outstanding patient care to those adults in need.”

Dr. Hemsath attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida prior to his fellowship training at the University of South Florida. Dr. Hemsath is board certified in Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychiatric Association and American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry.
